The El Dorado Builders’ Exchange is a membership non-profit association of contractors, construction related industries, and support services.

In 1959, the founders of the El Dorado Builders' Exchange established a non-profit organization of contractors and construction related industries. The original charter established principles to uphold high industry standards and represent its members on issues that affect the construction industry. The charter members believed that by preserving the integrity, honesty, and high standard of the building industry, the quality of construction, community enhancement and consumer protection would be secured.

The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity to meet and discuss matters of common interest or concern and to act collectively on issues affecting the professions of its members and of El Dorado County.

Sage accomplishes this through monthly meetings of its general membership and through periodic meetings of its committees.
