The filing deadline for candidates for Supervisor of El Dorado County was March 7th. Here are those Candidates.
District 1: Robert Dorr, Shiva Frentzen, John Knight, Harry Norris.
District 2: Harry Dean, Rachel Michelin, Ray Nutting, Barbara Smiley, Sam Teresi, George Turnboo.
District 3: Jack Sweeney.

Affordable Housing Lands
The county departments of Planning & Human Services has determined that the county has enough land that will be properly designated to allow development of housing affordable to people in very-low, low, moderate and above-moderate income categories.

This fact is required to approve the county’s Housing Element with the state. The state requires that EDC has at least 3,708 building sites for affordable housing and the Planning staff has itemized enough land for 4,430 such units.
